CA Anti-Spam Plus CA Website Inspector is a software product of Computer
Associates that protects the user's computer(s) from Spam,
Phishing and Dangerous Websites.
Once installed, your inbox will only accept email from addresses on your
approved list. All other email will be quarantined and you can review them at your
convenience. This program works with Outlook and can filter spam in nine languages.
To help keep you organized, this program can index your Outlook emails so you
can search and find specific messages, attachments, contacts or appointments. This
software also does not over protect, it will let through bonded senders, like an email
verification of an order from Amazon.
CA Website Inspector provides protection against fraudulent and malicious websites
by showing you who owns the site you are visiting, warning you when you’re accessing a
potentially unsafe site.
This software is on my computer for a couple of weeks now and its seems to be
working rather well. For the people I know I've created whitelists in CA AntiSpam 2008
with their email addresses.
For unknown email-senders this software try to figure out if they are spammers or not.
This system works really well, but sometimes legitimate emails are seen as spam. Still I
can recommend you this software package but it gets 4 out of 5 instead of the maximum
score.
